Funding a Scholarship
One of the Butte College Foundation's most vital activities is the scholarship program in support of Butte College students. The Foundation administers several programs that augment traditional student aid and help to ease the financial burden felt by many students.
The Butte College Foundation has cumulatively awarded over 1,600 scholarships totaling over a million dollars to students in genuine financial need. These scholarships have been established by the generosity of individuals and organizations in our community who recognize the need to support educational opportunity, from fundraising activities, and from scholarship endowments currently maintained by the Foundation. The following are four of our endowed scholarship accounts.
