If you are planning to enroll in classes offered by Butte College, you will need to submit an application for admission to our College. You can pick up an application at the Butte College Chico Center Office (located at 2320 Forest Avenue) or apply online through CCCApply. Be sure to either mail or drop off the completed application 2 weeks prior to your registration date.
Registration is conducted either by telephone (TeleReg) or via the web (WebAdvisor). You will be able to locate your registration appointment day and time in the current Butte College class schedule or through the Butte College home page. Fee information is listed in the class schedule and this website under the section entitled Money Matters.
As a currently enrolled CSU, Chico student, you are exempt from the Butte College orientation and counseling activities; however, you will need to meet the assessment requirement. The assessment restriction can be satisfied with high enough SAT/ACT/EPT scores. Click on Assessment Exemptions for the necessary paperwork to be submitted. If you are no longer enrolled at CSU, Chico, you will need to participate in the Butte College Orientation Activities unless you meet one of the Orientation Exemption criteria.
Your test scores or college transcripts may be delivered or faxed (530-895-2249) to the Butte College Assessment Office for evaluation puposes. The Chico Center can fax your materials to our office. Allow two working days for an evaluation of your documents to be completed; the evaluation must be finished prior to your enrollment in classes.
If you are planning to enroll in a math or English course, you will need to become eligible through the Butte College Assessment process. Registration can be completed by telephone registration ($2 will be charged) or by Web registation through the Butte College website.
