Sophomore Michael Maehl was voted by the coaches Male Athlete of the Year for the 2006-2007 season. This season Michael batted .404 with a team leading 6 homeruns and 36 RBIs. He was also 16-19 in stolen bases. Mike played an excellent Leftfield and was rewarded by being named Co-Player of the Year and selected 1st Team All - Conference. Maehl was also excellent in the classroom, where he set an example of how to be a successful student-athlete. In addition, Michael was the starting free safety on the 2006 Football team.

Three players: (Co-Player of the Year) (outfielder) Michael Maehl, (RHP) Derrick Miramontes, and (infielder) Taylor Clements, were named to the 2007 All-Conference team.
Six other Roadrunners received second team All-Conference. They were: (LHP) Aaron Grinstain, (RHP) Jose Garcia, (1st Baseman) Curtis Eubanks, (infielder) Lars Ronten, (outfielder) Chris Cooper, and (outfielder) Brent Etchepare.

Freshmen Derrick Miramontes (10-3 3.57 era) has been selected to travel to Japan by the Goodwill Series, INC. This summer, Derrick will spend 13 days in Japan representing the United States. Nomar Garciaparra, Matt Williams and Jim Edmonds are a few names that participated in the Goodwill Series in Japan. "Mira is a great kid and deserves this opportunity. This selection shows firsthand that hard work pays off. Nobody works harder than Derrick and I couldn't be more excited for him." explained coach Ferro.

Freshmen Derrick Miramontes and Anthony Welz were selected to the All Nor-Cal team by the Northern California coaches this past weekend at the coaches meeting in Fresno. DM finished the year 10-3 with an era at 3.57. Welz was 5-1 with 10 saves and a state leading era at 1.02.

Jared also played an excellent 3rd base and was rewarded by being named to the 1st Team All - Conference. Jared was also excellent in the classroom, where he set an example of how to be a successful student-athlete.

Six players: (outfielder) Chris Cooper, (infielder) Jared Votaw, (infielder) Curtis Eubanks, (LHP) Matt Davis, (pitcher of the year) Derrick Miramontes and (relief pitcher of the year) Anthony Welz were named to the 2006 All-Conference team.
Four other Roadrunners received second team All-Conference. They were: (outfielder) Michael Maehl, (catcher) Beau Jacop, (infielder) Shea Davis and (Designated Hitter) Drew Churchward.
