Here at Butte College we feel we offer these key benefits along with the opportunity to be a part of one of the top programs in the state. In 2008 we had six players selected to the All-Conference team and all seven of our sophomores committed to universities. Also, sophomore pitcher Michael Gleason (signed with Chico State) led the North in strikeouts with 102.

If there is one thing Coach Ferro can guarantee you, is that his baseball team will be prepared academically (eleven 2008 players had a 3.0 GPA or higher) and athletically on a daily basis. This will play a key role in making the Butte College baseball program something the community can be proud of.
