Students must be able to read, write and speak English at a level necessary to actively pursue a full-time academic program.

ALCI is the local intensive English language program that is affiliated with California State University, Chico. Completing this program allows you to be admitted to Butte College without having to take a standardized test. When you select this Conditional Admission option, you will be issued an I-20 from ALCI along with an official conditional acceptance letter from Butte College.
