Faculty Reference & Instruction Librarian

Morgan has worked in libraries since 1996. She received her Master of Library and Information Science degree from the University of South Carolina. Her BA is in Spanish, with a minor in Latin American and Caribbean Studies. She earned her degrees as a returning adult student, beginning at a community college, then transferring to a four-year university, and finally to graduate school.

Morgan's responsibilities at the Library include Web design, database management, 24/7 virtual reference, collection development, bibliographic instruction, and, of course, reference. She is somewhat conversant in Spanish, and has worked with government documents and resources.

Morgan serves on the Curriculum Committee, Student Success Committee, and various other Butte College Committees.

Her office door in LB 302 is always open to serve students and staff at the college.
