Butte College New Operating Hours for Fall 2010

Purpose
To describe the building schedule and operating hours for Fall 2010.

Background
In fall, 2010 the college will transition to an efficient schedule as part of its ongoing effort to save
resources and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.  Currently the usage of the campus on Friday is
significantly smaller than the usage on Monday to Thursday.  The concept for the efficient schedule is
to maintain the current Friday instructional schedule while tailoring building operating hours and
services to the campus usage pattern.  This will enable the college to maximize the amount of services
that are available when there is the highest demand for these services.

The efficient schedule for fall 2010 will be a pilot and may be modified based on its effectiveness.

Building Schedule
The only buildings listed here are those that are being closed all or part of the day on Friday based on the efficient schedule.  Buildings not listed here will remain open all day on Friday.
