2007-2008 SEASON IN REVIEW

The Running Roadrunners had a very solid 2007-2008 season that saw them earn an overall 18-8 record and finish second in the Golden Valley Conference. A last second league loss at the buzzer was the only thing between the “Roadrunners” and a conference championship, and automatic California Community State Tournament bid! Be sure to follow the “Roadrunners” in 2008-2009 as an outstanding contingent of experienced players return. 

Notable Season Accomplishments

1) Finished the conference season on a strong note going 5-0,
the best second half league record, and playing their best
basketball of the season.

2) Champions of the Mendocino Invitational Tourney where they
beat Cuesta College in the championship game 78-61.

3) Great win over league champion Lassen 80-71 in the season finale!

4) 2008 Golden Valley Conference Award Winners:

I) All- Conference Selections:

Pavol Losonsky 6'9” Freshman

Jack Martin, 5'10” Sophomore

Rayfel Donohue 6”0”, Sophomore-Honorable Mention

II) All-Defensive Selection:

Makana Rice, Freshman
