Mission Statement |
The Library catalog is available online, and all the research databases are accessible to current students and staff from on or off-campus via the Internet.
Reference assistance is available 24 hours a day through our virtual chat service, as well as by telephone, e-mail, and in person during our regular hours.
Many of our workshops are available as online tutorials, along with handouts and search guides. Many of our other services are also available online.
The Butte College Library on the Main Campus provides a full range of information services including circulation, reference, interlibrary loan and library instruction. The library offers students a place to study, research and improve their information competencies. The third floor is an absolute quiet study area with over 100 individual study carrels and 5 group study rooms.
Media Services for staff and students are available in LB 120.
The Chico Center Library is located inside the Academic Support Services Center in Room 219. The CHC library provides library instruction, reference service, reserve book circulation and a reference collection. You may also request circulating books for pick up at Chico Center.
