A Butte College application for admission must be completed in its entirety and signed by the student. Applications are available from the Office of Admissions & Records, the Glenn County Center in Orland, the Chico Center and the Campus Information Office. Download an application form on the web at www.butte.cc.ca.us/bc_app/BC_app.html. Applications are also mailed inside the final schedules printed for the Fall and Spring semesters.
It is very important to fill in all sections on both sides of the application. Please use black ink and print legibly. Also, make sure the application is signed before submitting the application. All applications that are not signed are returned to the student for their signature.
There is no charge to apply and submitting an application does not require you to attend Butte College. All students are urged to apply as soon as possible. Registration appointments for new students are determined on a first come, first served basis.
International Students have a separate application packet and one can be sent to you by contacting the Admissions & Records Office. There is a $100 application fee which is credited to tuition at the time of enrollment.
If you live out of the area and do not have computer access and would like an application mailed to you, contact the Campus Information Office at (530) 895-2511 or Admissions & Records at (530) 895-2361.
