Positive Discipline
Tuesday
Evening Workshops 6pm to 9pm
Positive Discipline includes skills for practical
application to help children stop misbehaving—and to teach them
self-discipline, responsibility, cooperation, and problem-solving. Come join Lisa and learn how to solve
defiance, whining, and all the other “problem” behaviors children and teens use
to drive you crazy. And yes, you can
do it all without ever blaming or punishing them! Jane Nelsen, Ed.D., author of Positive
Discipline, approaches parenting in a comprehensive, fast-paced, and fun way
that makes sense! Parents, Foster parents, Social Workers, Teachers and
Therapists will all benefit from this training. Lisa will focus instruction on how to apply this model to your specific
needs/situation. Problem solving for parents/support staff attending this class
will be a priority in any class session.
