The Services

The Butte College Independent Living Skills Program (ILSP) meets Wednesday Evenings 6pm to 8pm.

The Location is The Butte College Foster/Kinship Care Education Center: 2491 Carmichael Dr. Suite 300 Chico, CA 95928

Some topics covered will include: Skills Assessment, Life Skills, Money Management, Computer Skills, Health and Safety, Banking and Budgeting, Survival Skills, Self Esteem Development, Career Exploration, Financial Aid for Higher Education and Housing information.

It is possible for Independent Living Skills Program eligible youth ages 16 to 21 to earn $15.00 dollars a week for meeting program expectations. The earned incentive money will be used to purchase household goods that will help a youth prepare for independence. ILSP store dates for this program year will be announced soon. All incentives must be spent within the program year!!
