Timeline to receive AidThe complete process can take up to 4 months Step One: Complete your FAFSA application. Step Two: Once you receive your Student Aid Report (SAR), review, correct and mail back to the the Federal Processor. If there are no corrections to be made, please keep for your personal records. 4-6 weeks or 2-4 weeks if FAFSA filed online. Step Three: In order for the Financial Aid Office to continue processing your request for financial aid, please respond quickly to any forms that are mailed to you. If your information has been selected for verification, we will review for accuracy. You can now check to see if any forms are required by logging onto your WebAdvisor account. Look under Financial Aid and then click on My Documents. If forms have been turned into our office recently, please allow three days to post. Important: Documents marked received may not have yet been verified. 4 weeks + the time it takes to provide your forms. If there are any discrepancies with forms turned in ; step three will be repeated. Step Four: File's will be checked for Standard of Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP). Additional requirements may follow, such as: 4-6 weeks, again this depends on how long it takes you to turn in any documents requested. Step Five: You will receive an Award Letter.
