Where in the world are we going?

Butte College has a diverse and dynamic Study Abroad Program offering short-term and semester-abroad destinations and courses of study not often found at other colleges. We are presently accepting applications for the following exciting Study Abroad tour packages in 2011-12:

Study Abroad in Costa Rica

An experiential educational opportunity integrating Spanish 2, 3, 4 or 95 (Special Studies), Conversational Spanish 100/101, Psychology 34, Psychology 95 (Special Studies), Special Topics (IDST 90), and Service Learning (IDST 94) with the goal of understanding the self through travel while broadening and deepening awareness of one's place in the "web of life."

Applications accepted from October 10, 2011 through January 17, 2012 and are available in LRC 320 and online.

- Accepting applications until January 30, 2012;

- Working on reducing the overall cost of the program; and

- Waiving all prerequisites. (Good Academic Standing still required.)
