Math Competition 
Do you like math? Have you had Math 20 or Math 26 or equivalent classes elsewhere?
Would you like to compete for local monetary prizes? If so, then be a participant in the American Association of Two-Year College’s (AMATYC) national mathematics exam.
This exam is just one hour long and is open to any Butte College student, full-time or part-time who has not earned a two-year college degree or higher. There is a fall and a spring competition and to be eligible for prizes a student must take both exams.
Date of Math Contest: Thursday, March 6
Place:
Time: 12:00 – 1:00 pm
There will also be a review session where you can obtain study guides, copies of past exams, and have a chance to ask questions.

Time: 12:00 – 1:00 pm
You can compete for national, as well as local, awards. The scores for Butte College’s top five finishers are submitted nationally. Help Butte College look good at the national level!
